In order to self enrol your status with Cardiff Met must be Unconditional Firm (UF) and you will be sent a notification email to confirm you are able to proceed. Following enrolment, research students are made Academic Associates and have the status of academic staff, receiving a staff ID card and access to staff facilities/resources.
Induction and Joining Information
All new postgraduate researchers enrolling in 2024/2025 are expected to attend an informal ‘Meet & Greet’ session followed by a more formal Induction. The ‘Meet & Greet’ will provide you with an opportunity to engage with key members of staff who will be involved with your research degree. Induction will introduce you to key topics which are relevant to the initial stages of your postgraduate researcher study.
