Financial Support
Current enrolled home students who find themselves in financial difficulty may be eligible for financial support to help them with essential costs. To start the application process complete this appointment request form. You will then be sent a link to your Cardiff Met inbox to book an appointment with a member of our money advice team. During this appointment we will discuss your situation with you and talk through financial support that may be available.
International and EU students
Current enrolled International and EU students who find themselves in financial difficulty may be eligible for financial support to help then with essential costs. You can apply for emergency financial support if you:
- have been the victim of crime or fraud (you will need to provide a crime reference number)
- are fleeing domestic violence or abuse
- have suffered a domestic disaster in the UK such as house fire or flood
If any of these circumstances apply to you, contact us at financialsupportfund@cardiffmet.ac.uk to discuss your situation further.
We will also contact the Global Student Advisory Service to make them aware of your circumstances so they may also offer you some specialist support.
