Student Services
We provide students with support and guidance, including counselling and mental health, disability support, and money management.
These services encompass counselling, financial advice, and assistance with disability and dyslexia.
We support students who experience a range of disabilities, including specific learning difficulties.
We also offer free, confidential mental health and wellbeing support.
Complete our Disability, Wellbeing and Counselling support form to get started.
If you are worried about a friend or fellow student, or are a member of staff concerned about a student, you can make a referral to the service through our Cause for Concern form.
Visit the i-zone to book appointments and get help with non-academic queries. Friendly staff from the Student Support and Employability team are available on both the Cyncoed and Llandaff campuses to answer questions about student services, help with booking appointments, assist with tuition fee payments, verify qualifications, and more. For more information, visit the i-zone page.
Current students can book appointments to access a range of services by logging into MetHub. If you need assistance with the booking process, the i-zone team is ready to help.
We offer an interactive online wellbeing toolkit called “Being Well Living Well,” which is accessible through Moodle. This resource is designed to help students maintain their mental health and wellbeing. Explore the toolkit on Moodle.
Students experiencing financial difficulties may be eligible for assistance from the university. To initiate the process, complete the Financial Support Appointment Request form.
