Overview

Tjerk is a Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology at the Cardiff School of Sport. Tjerk has recently joined the School in September 2014, following a year lecturing at Chichester University and a year at the Sport University of Cologne. He is particularly involved in the delivery of Sport Psychology modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

He has an emerging research profile that focuses on the intra- and interpersonal effects of emotions and social support in social and performance contexts. He is currently working towards accreditation as a BASES sports and exercise scientist (Psychology).
