Overview
Rob is a Principal Lecturer in Strength and Conditioning, delivering primarily on the BSc Sport Conditioning Rehabilitation and Massage and MSc Strength and Conditioning degree programmes within the Cardiff School of Sport. He teaches widely across these programmes but specialises in Strength and Conditioning with youth athletes within his teaching and research. In his role of Undergraduate Programme Coordinator he is responsible for managing the undergraduate programmes within the Cardiff School of Sport.
Rob has also provided a range of support services to national and international governing bodies and athletes. He currently acts as the Head of Coaching within the Youth Physical Development Centre at Cardiff Met. Rob has been an Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach (ASCC) with the UK Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA) since 2008, and also is a LTA Performance Coach and Coach education tutor.
