Overview

Michael is a Senior Lecturer in Sport & Exercise Physiology in the School of Sport. He has extensive experience in a variety of academic roles in research, supervision, enterprise and learning & teaching. Michael is Programme Director for both the MSc in Sport & Exercise Science and the Intercalated BSc in Sport & Exercise Science.

He has a variety of research interests and has carried out consultancy work for a variety of governing bodies (including FIFA, Badminton World Federation and Sport Wales). He has been lecturing since 1995 and was previously employed as an Exercise Physiologist with the British Olympic Association.
