Overview
Dr Lana St Leger is an early career researcher and Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management at Cardiff School of Management at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Prior to joining the Department for Marketing and Strategy in 2022, she worked as a Lecturer in Sport Management at Cardiff School of Sport and Health Sciences at Cardiff Metropolitan University, and at the University of Bath within the Department for Health, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Lana completed her Ph.D. in 2020 which investigated the role of community sport in encouraging the use of the Welsh language among young people beyond the school gate, funded by the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol.
Lana’s research interests focus on four main areas: Sociolinguistics and Anthropological Linguistics, Community Studies, the Well-being of the Future Generations, and Policy and Practice.
