Overview
Julian joined Cardiff Metropolitan University in 1990, working with film and video students in the Time Based Practice area of the School of Art and Design, initially as a technician, and later as a technician demonstrator.
He joined the School of Health Sciences in 2002 as technician for Speech & Language Therapy and Nutrition & Dietetics.
In 2012 he joined the Department of Applied Psychology as Senior Technician (0.5), based in the Psychology/SLT computer suite and the Speech Science Laboratory.
In 2015 Julian became a Technician Demonstrator within the Department of Applied Psychology. His Main responsibility under this role is the support of Level 4 Psychology students using the SPSS software package and performing by-hand calculations in Conducting & Communicating Research in Psychology workshops. He also supports the use of hardware and software for psychological research in the Level 4 Fundamentals of Cognition module.
