Jordan Allers

Overview

Currently, Jordan is Programme Director for the BA (Hons) Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and BA (Anrh) Addysg Gynradd gyda SAC 3-year degree courses at Cardiff Met. Jordan teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate teacher training programmes in his capacity as Senior Lecturer in Teacher Education and Professional Learning. He jointly leads on the development of coaching and mentoring across Cardiff Partnership, and delivers mentor, senior mentor and University tutor professional learning.

Jordan fell in love with teacher training during his time as a classroom teacher; he saw first-hand the positive impact that teachers can have on children’s lives. Jordan particularly enjoys the opportunity to work with so many curious, innovative, hardworking and talented student teachers, all of whom are determined to become the best teachers they can be for the learners in our schools.
