Overview

Helen gained a BSc in Applied Psychology and Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Cardiff University. She completed an ESRC post-doctoral fellowship and ESRC grant at Cardiff University, as well as a post-doctoral fellowship at Université Laval, Quebec, before joining Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2013 Helen’s research is broadly in the field of cognitive psychology, with particular interest in the effects of interruptions and distraction on task performance.
