Gabriel Roberts
Senior Lecturer in TESOL
Cardiff School of Education & Social Policy
Overview
Having been involved in English Language Teaching (ELT) since 1998, I have been involved in all aspects of the field, from teaching young learners to preparing international medical graduates for the IELTS test and later management of the university's English Language Training Centre. I have worked in Japan, Korea, Mexico and in the UK.
I am now involved in CELTA training and the TESOL pathway. My PhD is on the socio-linguistic challenges that inhibit displaced medical healthcare professionals in returning to practice.
