Overview
Born 1963 London.
After graduating from Canterbury in 1986 I took a diploma in Scenic Art at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1988, which gave me the practical skills and the introduction to the theatre and film world, necessary to becoming a freelance Scenic Artist. This was how I supported my practice until 2002 when I left London and increasingly supplemented my income through teaching.
I gained an MA in painting from the Royal College of Art in 1995 and was the Abbey Scholar in Painting at the British School at Rome from 1995 to 1996.
