Overview

Caroline is a Reader in Health and Occupational Psychology. She is a Chartered Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the BPS. She is a full member of the BPS Divisions of Occupational Psychology and Health Psychology and is a Principal Member of the Association of Business Psychologists. Caroline is a member of the European Health Psychology Society, is a Registered EuroPsy Psychologist and HCPC Registered as a Practitioner in Health and Occupational Psychology. She is also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Caroline is a member of the BPS Division of Health Psychology Training Committee and the QHP (Stage 2) Qualification Reference Group as well as being an Assessor for the BPS stage 2 qualification in health psychology. Caroline is a BPS Verifier for the Certificate of Competence in Occupational Testing, a BPS Verified Assessor for the Certificate of Competence in Occupational Testing and a BPS qualified psychometric test user and holder of the European Test User Certificate (EFPA).

Caroline's research interests focus on health psychology in relation to medicines use, eating related behaviour, stress and well-being in the workplace and psychometric testing. She is a founder member of the Health Psychology in Medicines Use Group and a member of the NISCHR funded Eating Disorder Research Development Group and is actively involved in research exploring employee engagement, well-being, stress and coping.
