Overview

Carol is a designer and researcher with an interest in post-human-centred design. Curious about how we might move towards design practice and research that is diffractive and entangled. Carol has exhibited at Ars Electronica Festival in Linz AUS, Piksel Festival Bergan NO, Vivid Projects and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in Birmingham UK, Sluice Gallery, London UK, and Panke Gallery, Berlin, DE. She lectures on the BA Graphic Communication Design and MDes Global Design at the Cardiff School of Art and Design. Previously Carol has lectured on BA Graphic Design at the University of Lincoln and BA Graphic Design at Arts University Bournemouth at UAL. Carol has acted as external examiner for The Open University and as assistant editor for the International Journal of Screendance issue Volume 8. Carol is co-convenor of the Design Futuring research group at CSAD.

Research Publications

Copy/Paste: Taking the form of an online exhibition at Piksel Cyber Salon, it aims to show that copying is natural, and to re-think how we create/share/copy and paste.
