Overview
Anna is a qualified Speech and Language Therapist and joined the lecturing team at Cardiff Met in 2018.
Anna’s first job in 2002 was a spilt post working with adults with learning disabilities and young adults with traumatic brain injury in Warwickshire. She also completed additional clinical training in dysphagia. In 2004, Anna moved to London to join a specialist acquired neuro team before returning to Wales in 2012. She has worked mainly within outpatient and community rehabilitation, developing specialist skills to support adults with the communication and swallowing difficulties that result from a range of acquired or progressive neurological disorders.
When Anna began teaching at Cardiff Met, she undertook her PGC in Teaching in Higher Education and became a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Anna is a member of the professional body, RCSLT and the regulating body, HCPC.
