Overview
Andy is a lecturer, Chartered Physiotherapist and qualified massage practitioner on the BSc (Hons) Sports Conditioning, Rehabilitation and Massage degree programme having joined the school in 2012 following working in professional rugby union. Prior to this he worked in multiple different sporting settings, private practice and the NHS.
Within the school he is a personal tutor, employability lead for the course and module leader.
He also contributes to the MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine as well as other MSc programmes. Along with the lecturing he has continued to work and consult as a physiotherapist for the Cardiff Centre of Sports and Exercise Medicine as well as NGBs and other sporting organisations. This includes among others GB Rowing, Welsh Hockey, and Welsh Tennis.
