Overview
Gemma joined the academic teaching team in September 2016, following a two year post as the Senior Performance Analysis Technician at the school.
Since joining the School of Sport, Gemma has integrated herself within the Work Based Learning element of the Sports Performance Analysis (SPA) course, supporting students with internal placements within Cardiff Met Sport. She has also forged strong external links with Wales Squash and Racquetball and Welsh Netball, leading to external placement opportunities for students.
Gemma is an active analyst, with current connections to Welsh Netball Senior Squad and supporting the Celtic Dragon franchise in the National Netball Super League, this alongside supporting Squash Wales International athletes and coaches.
