We have a Dual Career Athlete & Performance Sport Concession Policy in place for all courses at Cardiff Met.

Our performance programmes are led by experienced members of staff and coaches and supported by our Performance Services Team.

We offer world-class sports facilities at our Cyncoed campus to support both the academic and sporting development of our students.

We have over 30 sports clubs providing a range of opportunities for our students. All sports clubs are governed by the Cardiff Met Students’ Union.

After missing out in the play-offs in 2017 and 2018, Cardiff Met FC secured their place in the 2019 Europa League play-off round following victory against Bala Town.

Cardiff Met was massive for my physical development. The standard of the game is very good. It has helped me get to where I am now.

The most successful football team in Wales’, Cardiff Met WFC secured their 6th title in eight years in 2019 and qualified for the Women’s UEFA Champions League.
