Dr Dan Zhang has over two decades of experience in journalism and digital
business. He launched and managed the online and mobile platforms for Walt
Disney and Warner Bros. in China from 2001 to 2007. He teaches marketing
technology, data and metrics, and customer-centric strategies. His teaching aims
at preparing marketing students to enter, excel, and lead in the dynamic and digitalised
workplaces of today. His research explores the impact of technology, Web3, and
digitalisation on media industries, higher education, and sports business.
