Work Abroad at Cardiff Met

Staff at our partner universities can work for up to a week at Cardiff Met, gaining valuable career experience in the friendly, vibrant capital of Wales.

Become a part of the Cardiff Met community through our staff exchange, where you can refresh your thinking, develop your international network and discover new ways of working. And it all takes place in the dynamic, welcoming city of Cardiff.

This opportunity is open to members of staff working at our partner universities. Not sure if that applies to you? Contact your university’s staff exchange or mobility team to find out if there is a partnership with us in place.

Email incomingexchange@cardiffmet.ac.uk, letting us know which school or department you’d like to work in and for how long. You can spend anywhere from two to five days here. Please also let us know what type of work or job shadowing you would like to do.

How to apply 

We’ll then assess your request to make sure it meets our eligibility criteria, which varies depending on where you’d like to work. After that we’ll forward your request to the relevant school or department for review. Once they’ve made their decision, we’ll be in touch to let you know.

If your request is accepted, we’ll prepare the necessary documentation and offer all the support you need to make your time at Cardiff Met as rewarding and memorable as possible.
