Global Grants Global Grants 2021-2022

Five projects were awarded a Global Grant for 2021/22, with a total of £2,475.05 being awarded for the Global Grants. The successful projects hosted their events and initiatives from May 2022 to July 2022, with all projects submitting a final report in July 2022 to summarise their achievements. Cardiff School of Sport and Health Science Dr Clare Glennan and Dr Heidi Seage	2-day taster course in Psychology to be delivered to displaced people with an aim of improving wellbeing and confidence in learning.
Cardiff School of Sport and Health Science Dr Heidi Seage and Dr Amie Prior	Support student engagement by offering prizes for best conference presentation and poster as part of the first co-developed conference with our Transnational Education Partner City Unity College (CUC) titled ‘Psychology Across Boarders’.
Centre for Entrepreneurship Rachel Knox	International student business Meet and Mingle event.
Cardiff School of Sport and Health Science Dr Mike Wells and Dr Heidi Seage	Seminar for staff, students, and key stakeholders in Third Sector organisations working with refugees and asylum-seekers to raise awareness of the impact that forced migration has on the lives of refugees and asylum seekers in Wales.
Cardiff School of Art and Design Dr Fiaz Hussain, Angela Dutton, Dr Kereine Canavan	Textiles and Natural Dye workshop delivered to local refugees and asylum seekers
