Teaching

Stuart is a module leader and senior lecturer on the BSc (Hons) Environmental Health and MSc Occupational Safety, Health and Wellbeing programmes.  As well as teaching Stuart is also a research project supervisor and personal tutor.  Previous academic roles include being the Programme Director for the MSc Occupational Safety, Health and Wellbeing programme and MSc Applied Public Health programme.  Stuart is also the Programme Moderator for the MSc Occupational Safety, Health and Wellbeing programme delivered in conjunction with Dimensions International College in Singapore.

Research

Stuart's research interests focus upon the development, implementation and promotion of sustainable occupational health and wellbeing strategies and interventions in the workplace.  Having recently completed a part-time PhD developing a strategic framework for reducing work-related stress among headteachers in Wales, Stuart’s current focus is on reducing stress in the workplace.
