ZERO2FIVE Food Industry Centre at Cardiff Metropolitan University combines technical expertise, insight and research to help build more innovative, resilient and sustainable food and drink manufacturing businesses.
Our food and drink industry experts provide a variety of technical and commercial support to companies of all sizes. This includes support and guidance with food safety compliance, third-party food safety certification (including BRCGS and SALSA), new product development (NPD), process efficiency, waste reduction, considerations for start-ups, bespoke HACCP, factory design, food security, food and labelling legislation, nutrition and market analysis.
Through Project HELIX, we can offer a range of Welsh Government funded technical and commercial support to eligible food and drink manufacturers.
The state-of-the-art facilities within ZERO2FIVE are available for use by businesses. These include a consumer sensory suite, four pilot sized plants, a development kitchen and a consumer observation kitchen.
