About us

​​​​​Research and Innovation Services (RIS) is based at Cardiff Metropolitan University's Llandaff Campus, from where the team supports research and knowledge exchange interactions with business and the wider community. At an operational level, RIS is the gateway through which external organisations can access the support and knowledge base of the University. 

We work with colleagues across Cardiff Met’s five Schools and all units on a broad range of research and knowledge transfer activities maximising the commercial and social value of the University's research.  We work with businesses through collaboration, work based learning, offering the opportunity for businesses to work with our students and the use of our resources and facilities​.
