Biography
Growing up in North Wales, I spent my childhood and teenage years involved in the creative arts; drawing, painting, sewing, playing music, and in the theatre. I moved to Cardiff in 1998 to study acting, and for the next 13 years travelled nationally and internationally, playing in all manner of venues, from schools and parks, to theatres and on TV.
Following this, I spent 12 years working for WJEC, working in various areas of the organisation, until becoming the Senior Officer for the Welsh Baccalaureate. During this time, I pursued creative endeavours in and outside of work, studying interior design, and sewing, and training as a Hypnobirthing Teacher.
Since joining CSAD in 2022, I have enjoyed working collaboratively with colleagues, and students to promote the excellent work that happens here. I have delved further into the world of visual communications, (something I hope to build upon) and have restarted my studies as a second language Welsh Speaker.
I now live in the lovely seaside town of Barry, where I enjoy raiding the charity shops to find sustainable second-hand gems, sea swimming and playing on the beach with my son and husband.
