The Graduate Outcomes Survey is a national survey sent to all graduates 15 months after they finish a Higher Education course.
It’s the biggest annual social survey in the UK and captures information about graduates’ views, experiences and current activities.

How does it work?
The Graduate Outcomes survey is delivered by HESA on behalf of Cardiff Met. It only takes around 10 minutes to complete, and you can complete it on most devices.
15 months after completing your studies, you’ll be sent a unique survey link by email and/or text, so it’s really important you keep your contact details up to date. You may also receive text reminders or a phone call from IFF Research (on behalf of Cardiff Met) to help you complete the survey.
Update your details
We will keep in touch after you graduate, sending timely reminders to let us know if your details have changed for the purposes of the Graduate Outcomes survey.
All Graduate Outcomes specific communication from Cardiff Met will cease once your cohort has commenced surveying.

What’s in the survey?
The survey includes optional and mandatory questions, which focus on:
employment, destinations, and further study
graduate voice measures (for example how your work or study fits in with your future plans and whether you are utilising the skills gained during your study)
subjective wellbeing measures (optional wellbeing questions based on how you are feeling).
Visit the HESA website for further information about the survey, including Q&A’s for graduates.
Why complete the survey?
Your valuable response adds to the collective voice of graduates across the UK and will inspire and inform future students.
As a Cardiff Met graduate, your response to the survey is important to us. Sharing your experiences will help us to:
