Welcome to the QED website. The Quality Enhancement Directorate is at the heart of Cardiff Met, working in partnership with colleagues in the Schools and Professional Services to make a positive contribution to the experiences of staff and students at the University. Spanning the Quality Assurance provision and the enhancement and development of Teaching and Learning, the Directorate plays a unique and significant part in shaping policy and progress in line with our University’s Strategic Plans.
We deliver an integrated, collaborative approach to working – with teams of qualified, professional agile practitioners. Streamlined processes, with intelligent use of data, a proportionate and risk-based approach to quality assessment and the opportunity to embed pedagogic and innovative programme design enable the University to focus on student outcomes and student success.
