We provide a range of opportunities for employers to raise their profile on campus and engage with our students.
Vacancy advertising
We offer a free of charge service, where you can advertise your opportunities on our online system, MetHub.
Our students start using MetHub from day one, so by using this service you can increase the visibility of your vacancies to a relevant target audience.

Targeted emails
Targeted emails are an effective way to market opportunities to a specific cohort of students.
Recipients can be filtered by various criteria, including year group and course.
These are a cost effective way to tell students about your vacancies, events, webinars or anything else.
Increasing brand awareness
Employer stands
We can arrange a space within a high footfall area on Campus for you to run a promotional stand.
This provides the opportunity to:
- have an informal chat with students to promote your vacancies
- increase brand awareness
- test the market
- identify talent for future recruitment
Employer presentations
We can also arrange a session for you to come and talk to our students about your organisation. This provides the opportunity to:
- highlight your current vacancies
- outline your recruitment processes
- network with students
Employer skill sessions
We invite employers onto Campus to run skills sessions, which are interactive workshops aimed at developing the employability skills of our students.
These sessions allow you to connect with our students and help them develop a certain skill or knowledge base.
Funded internships
Santander
We partner with Santander to offer part funded internships to small to medium sized businesses wishing to take on a student or recent graduate for between 1 and 10 weeks.

Our Careers Fairs provide the perfect platform for you to engage with a variety of students and discuss your opportunities in an informal setting.
We run some events annually, including the
Careers and Placements Fair which is aimed at all students looking to discuss potential career paths.
We also run a
Part Time and Seasonal Jobs Fair which enables employers to interact with students and find talent to fill temporary part time roles.
We also run various tailored career fairs throughout the academic year, these are supported by employers from a number of industries, including:
- Science
- Technology
- Health
- Social Care
- Education
- Sport
Forums
Forums are panel style events with 4-5 delegates in attendance, each giving a short presentation followed by a networking opportunity.
They can help you to promote your industry and engage with potential future talent.
Speakers give tips and insights from their own experience of developing a career path, which helps students identify their own career aspirations.
Bespoke projects
We are always open to new ideas that benefit both employers and students, please get in touch to discuss.
