Organising a reunion

Are you interested in hosting a reunion with fellow Alumni? We can help!

The Alumni team can guide you on how to plan your reunion, send invites to old friends and promote your event.

Inviting your guests

Our database has thousands of Cardiff Met Alumni from a range of year groups that we can pass on your invites to*.

Or we can ask them if they are happy for us to share their contact details with you so you can get in touch with them yourselves!

We can search our database based on:

• year of graduation
• course studied

* Please note we are only able to contact those who have indicated that they are willing to receive communications from Cardiff Met.

Planning what to do

We can provide advice on places to eat, or places to visit if you are not familiar with Cardiff and need help deciding what to get up to during your stay.

We can get in touch with your department and help organise departmental tours or visits (where possible) to see what has changed since your university days!

Finding a venue

If you would like to host your reunion on campus, you can find out your options by contacting our Conference Services team. If you are interested in holding your reunion in the SU bar, contact the Students Union.

Finding a place to stay

Cardiff Met alumni can access special discounts from many of Cardiff's premier hotels.

If you are planning a summer reunion and need somewhere to stay, why not consider your old accommodation to add even more nostalgia to your experience?

From late June to early September, Cardiff Met offer accommodation for families, groups and individual travellers.

Or let us know about your reunion and we can find out about the availability for you.

Promoting your reunion

We can share the details of your reunion on our social media and in our quarterly digital newsletters or monthly emails to help find anyone interested in attending.

Help us grow our alumni network

It is possible that throughout your reunion planning you find Alumni who have not yet joined our community. We would appreciate it if you would encourage anyone in your group to join so we can make our community even bigger and engage with more Cardiff Met Alumni.

Share your photos

After your reunion has taken place, we would love to hear about how it went and see any images of the occasion. If you are happy for us to, we can then share these with the whole Alumni community.
