Huw Jones

Huw joined the Cardiff School of Education and Social Policy's Research and Innovation team having graduated from Cardiff University in 2006. In his role as Research and Innovation Officer he provides ongoing support to the academic project managers of various R&I activities, ensuring that they meet deliverable outcomes within the given timescale.

Huw has experience of collating numerous national and international funding applications and is the School's contact person for European projects. He is responsible for administering the arrangements for School staff to attend national and international conferences and  also manages the School's research seminar programme. He has vast experience in hosting and project managing Academic conferences, administering short CPD courses and supporting Welsh Government funded projects such as the development of PISA resources. Huw is the School’s main support contact for all matters relating to Graduate Studies.

Huw provides Welsh language administrative support to the whole school and is the University's centre manager for the ECDL programme.
