Congratulations once again on gaining your place at Cardiff Met – we can’t wait to meet you in September.
Here you will discover everything you need to know to get started.
The first thing you need to do is enrol and you can find all the information you need on our
enrolment pages.
Enrolling will enable you to order your
MetCard and give you access to our student intranet, MetCentral, where you will be able to access more course specific information and everything else you need to know to make the most of your experience here at Cardiff Met.
There’s everything from FAQs on student life to information on accessing your free gym and swim memberships and software. You’ll also find top tips for getting around Cardiff, term dates and lots of info about discounts, student support and everything our Students’ Union has planned for you.
Welcome Week starts on 23 September. You will need to be available throughout this week as there will be activities and course sessions taking place. Look out for your welcome emails for details, and there’s more about what you can expect from the first few weeks of your course in your course introduction guides on MetCentral.
You can find your Welcome Week timetable, including details of your first academic session,
on our dedicated page.
If you are an international student, you can find all the information you need on our
international welcome pages – from enrolment through to key dates and arrival tips.
Please click on the links to the left if you are a PGCE or Research student for additional information that is specific to you.
We are very excited to see you on campus soon!
