How the Met Rewards loyalty scheme works
To start collecting points, press the wallet icon within the Met Rewards app to bring up your unique QR code. Scan this code on the barcode reader at the till point when prompted by the operator andOnce you have collected 100 points, these convert into funds in your account that you can spend in the catering venues on campus. Your points balance resets to zero for you to start earning more points.
You can view your current points balance in the
Loyalty section of the app, and your spendable funds will appear in the
Accounts section. Press the refresh icon to get your most up-to-date balance.
It's not just loyalty points...
Met Rewards is much more than just a loyalty scheme. For each hot drink you purchase on campus, you earn an award on your digital stamp card. When your stamp card is full, you'll be rewarded with a voucher for a free hot drink.
There's also exclusive promotions and offers just for Met Rewards members. These will be sent out directly to your app, so be sure to keep an eye on your vouchers.
Met Rewards is available in Welsh!*
Go to your iPhone settings, select
General and then
Language & Region.
Add Cymraeg (Welsh) to your languages and select it as the preferred language. Your phone will then restart.
Once restarted, go to Met Rewards and your app will be displayed in Welsh.

How do I download Met Rewards?
Search for
'Met Rewards' on the App Store or Google Play to download the app on your mobile device. Register using your Cardiff Met email address and you're good to go.
How do I use the app in store?
Press the wallet icon at the top of any page in your Met Rewards app to reveal a unique QR code. Scan this at the till point when prompted to earn loyalty points and reward stamps.
I can't remember my password...
There is a “forgot password” option on the sign in screen of the Met Rewards app. When asked, the organisation ID is
CARNB.
Can I still use my MetCard instead of Met Rewards?
No, Met Rewards is the only system for earning and spending loyalty points in Cardiff Met cafes and restaurants. Your card is no longer used at the tills. MetCard can still be used for many other things around campus. To find out more visit the

How does the app get updated?
Should there be an update to the app, there will be a notification in the App Store and Google Play.
I'm experiencing issues with the app...
If your QR code fails to scan whilst using the app at a till, check with the operator and try again. If your QR code doesn't appear at all when pressing the wallet icon, please sign out and back into the app.

Welcome Drink T&C's - Your welcome hot drink voucher is available to new members only and is valid for one small or regular sized hot drink purchased from K1 Restaurant, Bench Café, Track Café, Atrium, Gallery, Hub or Box. This promotion runs from 12th September-31st October 2022. Any unused vouchers will be cleared from member accounts at 17:00 on 31st October 2022. Cardiff Met reserve the right to decline or remove vouchers.
The Met Rewards loyalty scheme cannot be used in conjunction with the residential, study first bursary schemes, international catering allowance or any other promotional allowance scheme.
