Lecturer in Sports Ethics
Robyn is a lecturer in Sports Ethics in the School of Sport and Health Sciences. She joined the School in 2012 as an undergraduate student. Following the completion of her BSc in Sport and Physical Education,
Robyn enrolled onto a PhD (Sport) in 2016. Since then she has been appointed as a Classroom Demonstrator, an Associate Tutor in Sport and Socio-Cultural Studies and in 2018 she was appointed Lecturer in Sports Ethics. Robyn contributes to both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and has also been involved in delivering workshops for potential students on the universities open days.
Research / Publications
Robyn’s research interests are predominantly in sports ethics and the philosophy of sport. She is interested in applying philosophical methods to a range of moral and equality issues in sport, for example, gender, sexism and sexuality. Robyn has recently had a paper accepted to the journal of Sport, Ethics and Philosophy – this will be her first publication.
