Jack joined the Cardiff School of Sport and Health Sciences as a Physiology Technician Demonstrator in 2017 and will enrol as a part-time PhD student in the near future.
Jack graduated from BSc Sport and Exercise Sciences at Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2015 and will graduate with an MSc degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences at the same institution in 2017. As a Technician Demonstrator, Jack's roles include the daily running of the Physiology laboratories, assisting in the delivery of laboratory practicals to students and overseeing student and staff research projects.
Research / Publications
Jack's primary research interests are the influence of ageing and exercise training on the cardiovascular system at rest and during exercise. Jack's MSc thesis focused on how healthy ageing affected the function of the common carotid artery during incremental cycling exercise.
