Adeline is a Senior Lecturer at the Cardiff School of Sport and has a key role in the delivery of the rehabilitation element of the Sport Conditioning, Rehabilitation and Massage (SCRaM) degree. She also practices as a Physiotherapist in the Cardiff Sport and Exercise Medicine Centre which serves to both maintain and develop her clinical skills and competency, and informs her academic role by delivering the most current, evidence based practice to her students.
Research Interests
My main research interest focuses on the prevention and rehabilitation of lower limb injury. I have recently enrolled on to a PhD which focuses on hamstring injury prevention and treatment in elite athletes.
Teaching and Supervision
My main teaching role is the rehabilitation element of the BSc SCRaM degree. I am module leader at Level 5 (SSP5015 Sports Injuries) and Level 6 (SSP6091 Advanced Rehabilitation) of SCRaM and am personal tutor to Level 4 and 6 students. I also contribute to the MSc Sport and Exercise Medicine, MSc Strength and Conditioning and MSc Performance Analysis degree programmes. I currently supervise both undergraduate and post-graduate dissertation students.
