Staff Overview

Raman Grewal is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance in the School of Management at Cardiff Metropolitan University. She is a Certified Chartered Accountant and holds and MSc in Financial Management, Bachelors in Commerce and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Raman has extensive commercial, industrial, and lecturing experience. In addition to face-to face delivery, she has experience of delivering accounting and finance-based programmes through online and distant modes of study.

Teaching

​Raman is the Module Leader for Performance Management and Accounting; Strategic Business Leader; Corporate Finance and Advanced Financial Management.

In addition, Raman is a supervisor for the MSc Accounting and Finance and the MBA programmes.

Research

​Raman is currently in the process of completing a PhD in Earnings Management.

Her research interests are in corporate governance, earnings management, and corporate financial fraud.
