Natasha has been working on developing enterprise education both inside and outside the curriculum since 2006. Natasha is passionate about innovative, applied, student-centred curriculum design. She believes that industry should always be in the classroom, giving students the opportunity to shape their own learning journey through application of theory to industry, via innovative and authentic assessment methods.
Natasha worked for Research and Innovation Services at Cardiff Met for nine years where she set up and managed the Centre for Entrepreneurship, which delivers a suite of extra-curricular enterprise education programmes, as well as supporting business start-ups. The Centre won a Guardian Education Award for excellence in Enterprise Education in 2015 for its programmes and engagement with local businesses and community.
Natasha has also managed a number of Welsh Government funded projects including the South East Wales Higher Education Entrepreneurship Regional Hub, partners of which include Cardiff University, University South Wales and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
Natasha joined Cardiff School of Management in 2015, where she has taught across departments, developing the enterprise education provision. Natasha has also designed and validated the BA (Hons) Applied Entrepreneurship and innovation Management degree, the first programme of its kind in Wales, which she is now Programme Director for.
