  1. Rolls Royce Ltd 1969-1975: Commercial Manager. Financial administration of Ministry of Defense contracts.
  2. Financial Director Codas Business Systems Ltd 1980-1992: Financial Administration of all aspects of budgetary planning and control plus system development and design for clients.
  3. Consultant Allied Irish Bank 1978-1980: Ensuring creditworthiness of potential clients and assisting clients to improve their financial control procedures.
  4. Many financial consultancy projects in the UK and overseas in the private and public sector. A recent example being the development of a system of budgetary planning and control for the hospitals of the Bahrain Defense Force.
  5. Delivery of many short programmes to executives ( non finance specialists) in the UK and overseas i.e. Middle East and Germany.
  6. Setting up and delivery of MBA/MSc programmes in Bahrain ,Zambia and Germany.
  7. 1996-1998 Head of Marketing at the University of Glamorgan.
  8. 1998-2003 Associate Director Glamorgan Business School. Responsible for marketing and financial management.

Teaching

​Delivering finance programmes (MBA) in German, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Bahrain.

Academic coordinator of the Twenty 20 Sustainable Leadership Programme.

Member of the team that developed the Twenty 20 programme in 2010.

Deliver Finance Workshop and management of the Strategic Growth Project.

Research

​Member of team that produced the Hodge financed Productivity Report on SMEs in Wales.
