CIM Certificate and Diploma in Professional & Digital Marketing

​The School currently offers the CIM Certificate and Diploma in Professional Marketing & Digital Marketing. The Certificate is aimed a marketer who have experience in the industry and are looking to advance their career, whilst the Diploma is ideal for marketing managers looking to advance their strategic marketing and management skills. 

Level 4 Certificate in Professional & Digital Marketing: The CIM has developed this qualification with extensive employer led-research to ensure its relevance to maximising your career progression opportunities.  It is focused on:

  • Responsible Marketing (10-credits)

  • Content Marketing (10-credits)

All modules are delivered on weekends via face-to-face teaching (supported by a variety of online and library resources). All students will have access to the CIM published module eBooks for each of the mandatory modules, plus assessment support session.

  • 20-credit modules: 3-days

  • 10-credits modules: 2-days

  • Applied Marketing: 28th June 2024*

  • Planning Campaigns: 24th November 2024*

  • Digital Marketing Techniques: March 2025*

*Students can submit at any of the June, November, and March points but the assessment brief changes.


CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing:

  • The Digital Customer Experience: 28th June 2024*

Entry Requirements

Certificate: 

You will need one year's plus experience in the industry or a relevant Level 3 qualification, CIM or equivalent. Alternatively, a Level 3 Apprenticeship such as the Digital Marketer, Multi-channel Marketer or Marketing Assistant would also be accepted. We'll consider other equivalent Marketing Apprenticeships.​

Diploma:

One or more of the following is required: 

  • CIM Level 4 qualification, or relevant equivalent.

  • Level 4 Apprenticeship such as Marketing Executive, or equivalent.

  • Level 6 Apprenticeship such as Marketing Manager, or equivalent.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, with one-third of credits from marketing content. 

  • Professional experience (suggested two years of marketing in an operational role).
