Short Term Mobility Funding

Short Term Mobility Funding (STM Funding) is a University initiative led by Global Engagement to support Cardiff Met students to participate in an international mobility.

STM refers to mobilities less than one academic semester such as summer schools, field visits that are embedded within the curricula, internships, and so on.

What does STM Funding offer?

Successful applications will receive up to 80% contribution towards travel, accommodation and subsistence costs for a short term mobility activity, up to a maximum of £1000 per individual.

How to apply?

Programme directors/academic leads complete an STM application form on behalf of groups of students to participate in an overseas activity. The School implements an internal selection of students. Individual student applications cannot be accepted. You can find here the Application form, Application form guide and Application Guidelines.
