SEK International School is a private international school educating children from 0 – 18 years of age. They have centres in Barcelona, Madrid, Pontevedra, Almeria, Dublin, France and Qatar.
50 % of the tuition is given in English whilst the remainder is given in Spanish. They follow the International Baccalaureate Programme from Infant School through to Primary and Secondary School.
SEK have been running their programmes for the past 12 years and look for classroom assistants to assist at the schools. Placements are unpaid however SEK offer free accommodation, meals and transfers from and to the airport on arrival and departure days. You would be partnered with a mentor and would be provided with ongoing training and professional development throughout the placement.
The role is to support SEKs bilingual teachers by helping with planning/developing activities and assisting in the classrooms, and labs for Science placements.
