I completed the weeklong Grand Challenge with Think Pacific after one of my Lecturers suggested it to me. I wasn't sure what it entailed but thought I would be good to see what it is about and to I'm always up for learning new things.
I am so pleased I went out of my comfort zone to complete it; it was so informative and I learnt so much on Fijian culture as well as global issues and sustainable development. I also built on my professional skills and gained confidence in doing presentations.
I enjoyed this week so much I have decided to partake in one of the 8-week remote internships, to better my knowledge and to try and make a small difference in the world. Cardiff Met Global Opportunities team have been so helpful in every process, and their communication with students is brilliant.
