'Having the opportunity to study abroad was a chance in which I could not refuse. With the USA having such a high reputation in the sporting environment, the exchange program allowed me to witness this first hand. Expressing that I went on an exchange program during my job interview separated me from the other candidates as the program demonstrated that I learnt necessary key skills suited to working in a new environment. Looking back over my undergraduate degree, the six months spent on the exchange program was the most enjoyable time out of the three years, where a wealth of support was provided to ensure the experience was both enjoyable and beneficial.'
