Iva Nekovarova this year submitted her PhD thesis investigating offenders' motivation to participate in custodial education. She completed her BSc(Hons) in Psychology at Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2008. She is interested in forensic psychology in particular in assessment and enhancement of offenders' motivation to change. This interest stems from working in the Department of Education in HMP Cardiff. Iva teaches on a Foundation to Social Sciences programme and she is also a tutor for Level 4 students. Iva has experience in teaching psychology in the Community First areas as a Widening Access tutor.
