Profile
After studying theatre at Dartington College of Arts, Meryl initially worked as an actor and administrator with WOT Theatre, a young people's theatre company based in Cardiff. This led to a number of projects working with drama and young people in the South Wales area. Meryl joined Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2007 as a lecturer in Secondary Drama after working for a number of years as a lecturer in Performing Arts and Education in the Further Education sector. She completed an MA by Research in 2010 looking at Theatre in Education as a form of political theatre.
Meryl is a Senior Lecturer in Drama and teaches on number of modules on BA (Hons) Drama and Creative Writing, BA (Hons) Drama and Media and BA (Hons) English and Drama including:
