The Plas Gwyn campus is set in attractive landscaped grounds, located in the pleasant cathedral 'city' of Llandaff which is conveniently located for students attending the Llandaff Campus and only two miles from the city centre. There are shops, restaurants, bars, banking and other facilities within 5 minutes walk and the campus is regularly serviced by Cardiff Bus which transports students direct to the city centre in 10 minutes.

Plas Gwyn consists of 392 single study bedrooms, all of which are self-catered and have en-suite bathroom facilities:

Self-catered En-suite 'Classic' - 182 bedrooms
Self-catered En-suite 'Classic Plus' - 104 bedrooms
Self-catered En-suite 'Premium' - 104 bedrooms
Studio - 2 bedrooms

The rooms are grouped in flats of eight in which students share communal kitchen/dining areas. All bills are included in your rent and will not increase during the academic year.

What are the options and costs - Plas Gwyn

This campus offers three categories of accommodation, and costs are based on the relevant standard and additional facilities available. When applying for accommodation you may list which type you would like to be allocated in order of preference. However, we cannot always guarantee you will be allocated your preferred choice.

Self-Catered En-suite 'Classic'

£148pw – 40-week contract

Our most value-for-money option offers a single study en-suite bedroom (including a mini fridge) with access to a shared, fully equipped kitchen.

Self-Catered En-suite 'Classic Plus'

£157pw – 40-week contract

Offering a refurbished single study, en-suite bedroom (including a mini fridge) with access to a shared, fully equipped refurbished kitchen.

Self-Catered En-suite 'Premium'

£164pw – 40-week contract

Offering a larger bedroom with a mini fridge and additional social space within the fully equipped shared kitchen. All were refurbished within the last 2 years.
