If you have just completed a Foundation at Cardiff Met, or a HNC, and have chosen to progress into Year 1 of a degree with us, please see the relevant Induction information for your new degree which will detail your Induction week events. Some of these, you may choose not to attend as you will have attended last year, but some of them will be compulsory. If you are not sure, please contact the Programme Director of your new degree. You will need to attend the scheduled slot for your Student MetCard as you will need a new one to ensure you have the relevant access for your new degree. 

You will also need to make sure you access the Programme Specification Library as this will now have the details of your new degree. Click on Enrolled Student and then use your Cardiff Met Student ID, Surname and Date of Birth to access the system. 

You should now be able to access your student portal with your old log in details. If you have forgotten or need to change your Cardiff Met password, you can change it through the Password Management Service. Alternatively, you can contact the IT department on IThelpdesk@cardiffmet.ac.uk or ring 02920 41700 (Option 3) to speak to someone. They will reset your password for access to the Cardiff Met network.

If you are now starting on Year 2 of the BSc Housing Studies degree, please contact Jane Mudd - jmudd@cardiffmet.ac.uk - for information on your Induction week events. You will need to attend the scheduled slot for your Student MetCard as you will need a new one to ensure you have the relevant access for your new degree.

If you have completed our HND Health and Social Care and have chosen to progress onto Year 3 of the BSc, you are now enrolled. You should receive an email from the School of Sport & Health Sciences with Induction Information for Year 3.

If you have completed our HND Architectural Design and Technology and have chosen to progress onto Year 3 of the BSc, you are now enrolled. You will need to contact the School of Art and Design admin team for information on your Induction week on CSAD@cardiffmet.ac.uk.

HND Sport Performance and Coaching
You have now been enrolled onto Year 3 of either BSc Sport Coaching or Sport Performance Analysis, depending on your chosen course. For information on your Induction week events, please now log in to our MetConnect system. You can use your existing Cardiff Met login details use this system.
