Research
Pedagogic and applied research forms a significant part of daily life across the Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management Department. This enables staff to bring state-of-the-art thinking and practices into the teaching and learning environment. A wide range of compulsory and optional modules exist within the programmes, including project-based modules and field study trips.
Enterprise
Collaboration with other national and international institutions is widespread. Students are able to undertake industrial work placements around the globe as a result of our dynamic industry links and robust alumni network. These strong links have created opportunities for students to benefit from industry-based scholarships and mentoring schemes, e.g.: SA Brain, Sodexo, Compass and the Savoy Educational Trust.
