Think Pacific - Virtual opportunity
During these past weeks as an Intern with Think Pacific, I had the chance to learn about the rich cultural heritage of Fiji, I gained valuable insights on the guest speaker series discussion on different topics such as health, education, and tourism in relation to Fiji's national development plans. I was able to access a variety of workshops and reach out to other interns through a virtual coffee and connect with them on slack and LinkedIn.
With the support of my internship mentor Danny, I was able to choose my action project of the ''Nadi Tourism Business'' organization, as their life story has resonated the most with me. My work will consist of researching Fiji's top tours and activities, looking for trends in tourists review. I look forward to learning more about the tourism industry in Fiji's and that my contribution will help this family business to design the best tours and overcome the existing barriers.
