Challenges Abroad
Challenges Abroad operate in 6 locations across the world, each of their hubs being managed by their own staff, who are made up of both international and local individuals. With the FutureSense Foundation at the very heart of everything Challenges Abroad do, they believe students develop a greater awareness of global development issues allowing you to grow as global citizens.
As a social enterprise they are committed to providing ethical volunteer experiences that have a long-term impact and are mutually beneficial to both their volunteers and the communities where they work.
Challenges Abroad offer a range of exciting and sustainable projects to match any skill set or interest. You will be able to choose a programme that complements your area of study/expertise or opt for something completely different. Either way they will get you out of your comfort zone and help you grow as an individual!

Play Action International
Play Action International was founded in 2009 as East African Playgrounds, which remains the name of their sister organisation in Uganda.
PAI were founded on the fervent desire for children to have access to their right to play. Though children play across the world, the number of spaces dedicated solely to play varies enormously from country to country. After spending time in East Africa and noticing these disparities and the impact that lack of play was having on children and communities there, founders Tom and Carla constructed the very first playground at Walakuba West Primary School in Uganda.
Brand new for 2023, PAI , is giving you the chance to go out to their brand new compound in Kenya for 10 days to build a exciting playground at a nearby primary school, as well as explore the beautiful country of Kenya. As an ethical, affordable trip, it is the perfect opportunity to have the summer of a lifetime!

Think Pacific's projects have a sustainable impact and their volunteers leave Fiji with a second family and as a valued member of the community. If you're passionate about making a difference in the world with adventurous and like-minded people, then Think Pacific could be the perfect match for you.
